This byway travels through the tree-covered Turtle Mountains. Here the visitor can enjoy beautiful lakes, lush foliage, wildflowers, and an abundance of wildlife. The byway includes the International Peace Garden, Lake Upsilon, Lake Metigoshe State Park, the Butte St. Paul Historic Site and Wakopa. The Turtle Mountains provide camping, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, skiing, picnicking, golfing, archery, hiking and biking opportunities.
